Unless otherwise stated in the respective competition post, participation is open to natural persons aged 18 years or older who are resident in Germany.
Employees of Hotel Esplanade and their immediate family members are excluded from participation.
The participation requirements (e.g. following our social media account, liking a post, commenting or completing other actions) are specified in the respective competition post.
Unless otherwise stated, only one entry per person is permitted for each competition.
The opening and closing dates of each competition are specified in the respective competition post. Entries submitted outside the stated competition period will not be considered.
The prize and its details are described in the respective competition post.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or substituted for other goods or services.
The winner(s) will be selected after the closing date using the selection method described in the respective competition post (e.g. random draw or judging panel).
Winner(s) will be contacted via the communication channel specified in the competition post (e.g. Instagram direct message, Facebook message or email).
If a winner does not respond within 72 hours of notification, the organiser reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
Personal data collected in connection with a competition will be processed solely for the purpose of administering the competition and delivering the prize, in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Personal data will be deleted once the competition has been completed, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.

The organiser shall be liable in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions. Liability for slight negligence is limited to breaches of essential contractual obligations and does not apply where liability is mandatory by law, including in cases involving injury to life, body or health.
The organiser accepts no responsibility for technical malfunctions, network failures, platform outages or delayed, incomplete or lost entries that are beyond its reasonable control.
This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta or any other social media platform used for the competition.
The organiser is solely responsible for the administration of the competition.
The organiser reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate a competition at any time for good cause, particularly where technical, legal or other unforeseen circumstances make this necessary.
The organiser reserves the right to exclude participants who violate these Terms and Conditions, provide false information or attempt to manipulate the competition.
Legal recourse is excluded.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, to the extent permitted by law.
Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
